Bouncy Castle Hire

How To Setup

1/ First locate the smoothest most level place in the garden or the area where it is to be erected. Bouncy Castles can be erected on bumpy ground but obviously the flatter the ground the better. If it is going on a rough, dry, abrasive piece of land or concrete a groundsheet must be placed under the unit.
The same goes for dirty land. Do not set up on an oily surface.

2/ To prevent any possible damage to your Bouncy Castle, always walk over the area first to check and remove any large stones, sticks or other items you may find.

3/ Unroll and unfold, position as required, spread out each side as much as they will.

4/ Connect the blower to the long tube (inlet tube) at the back of the Bouncy castle and secure in place with velcro strap or rope.

5/ Ensure the deflation tube is closed. Close any zips that have been opened (these are located at various points around the base).

6/ If using an extension cord, fully unroll the cord (to prevent the cable from overheating). Protect electrical connections with either a cover or electrical insulation tape.

7/ Plug the blower in and allow the castle to inflate. This takes about five minutes. The blower must remain running continuously while the castle is in use.

8/ Keep children away from the blower.

9/ If used outdoors the unit must be anchored using the anchor stakes at points located around the base. Ensure the stakes are hammered all the way in to avoid them becoming a trip hazard.

10/ If used indoors place protective mats in front of the unit.

11/ We recommend using a residual current device on the power to the blower.

Packing Away

Please note: The castle cannot be stored wet. Please contact us if it has rained during your hire and you cannot get it dry. We will either negotiate a later return or arrange for it to be laid out at our scout den to dry.

1/Make sure the castle is completely empty of all children, clean, dry and free from debris.

2/Switch off the electrical supply and disconnect the blower, undo all deflation tubes.

3/Allow the castle to completely deflate (around 10 minutes)

4/Straighten the base. Fold walls in neatly towards the centre.

5/Fold two opposite sides in to the middle. Then fold in half again.

6/Roll up towards the outlet tube.

7/Secure and store carefully in the bag or trailer provided.
